Hi, I have configured the NowSMS gateway to talk to an internal EAIF MMSC. However, it appears that the NowSMS gateway will only accept mms addresses that are Numbers and it does not recognise RFC2282 addresses. RFC2282 format is supported by EAIF. Is this due to the implementation of the NowSMS gateway via EAIF. Thanks in advance, Bronagh | |||

Hi Bronagh, We've discussed this in e-mail. I think the issue is that when you submit a message to NowSMS via EAIF ... if a recipient address is in SMTP format, then we assume that you want to route the message external to the MMSC via SMTP. (NowSMS does not first evaluate if the SMTP address is one that would route locally to an MMS recipient.) -bn | |||
