When you receive one of these unfriendly messages (a feature of the operator MMSC through with the sender is sending you the message), you need to access the URL from a PC web browser. I suspect your full URL looks something like this: http://www.mms.vodafone.co.uk:8080/m/c?url=ml;message-id=8079966 The Vodafone MMSC likes to give you an internal error message after you give it your phone number ... as it seems to be somewhat buggy.

Well, if you were sent a text message telling you to visit this site, then you were sadly misinformed. I gather that you searched the web for references to "mms.vodafone.co.uk" and ended up here ... where basically all we can do is tell you to call Vodafone technical support.

Sorry if I sound like a broken record ... but if you're paying for MMS service from your operator, then you should contact them for assistance.

It's fascinating to see how many people are having problems with receiving MMS messages from Vodafone. But unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do about it. Therefore I'm closing this thread. |
