Hi there, we are using Now.SMS v5.0 If I go through the web interface on port 8800 to send an MMS I can put whatever text I want in the From field. The phone then displays this text correctly as the Sender: When I go through the port :80/mm1 interface I have problems. 1. If I set the originator to an MSISDN eg 441122334455/TYPE=PLMN then this is received on the phone as the originator correctly. 2. If I set the originator to an email address eg bill.comer@myco.com this again is displayed correctly as the Sender. Here is the problem 3. I want to set the originator as a URL eg www.myco.com If I do this the Sender on the phone is displayed as the VASP account used on the Now.sms box Please Help. | |||

An MMS originator address needs to be a phone number or an e-mail address. A URL is not a valid originator address. I'd suggest something like website@www.myco.com as an alternative. | |||
