Hello,
Is it possible with your software Now SMS to send MMS messages to an ip-adress? How does it work if it goes?

Hi Kavy,

I apologise for the delay in responding back to you.

In the future, if you have any support questions regarding the Now SMS/MMS Gateway, may I suggest that you post your question in one of the forums of this discussion board that has "Now SMS/MMS Gateway Support" in the title. We do not visit the other discussion forums as frequently.

To answer your question, we currently only support this from the web menu interface, and in a rather limited fashion.

If you specify an IP address instead of a phone number in the web form, and you are sending a WAP push or MMS message, the message will be sent to the IP address instead of a phone number.

For MMS, what this means is that the WAP push for the MMS notification will be sent out over UDP (port 2948) instead of SMS. In current versions of NowSMS, only one attempt is made to deliver this message over UDP, there are no retries ... so this is more of a feature for testing purposes than any production purpose.
