Hello, I'm studying how to operate a VASP (mainly WAP content and MMS content/relaying)without cooperation of any operator (mainly because they get, AT LEAST, 50% of all). In this scenario I have several questions: Operator always bills the GPRS traffic. How the traffic is billed? From the phone side, which traffic is billed (upload, download, both) ? Can I use independent MMSC from the operator (ex. NowSMS) with the wap gateway of the operator? (suposse it is an open gateway). In this case, I have warranties that operator won't bill the MMS if I use its wap gateway to reach my MMSC? Do you have any bussines case of how to operate an independent MMSC. The main problem I see is how to bill the customers who use my services because I don't use any operator facility. The only way (I know) for bill the customers is any prepayment or subscription facility. Do you agree? Thank you, Antuan | |||
