Hi, I have an application developped in java by which i can send and receive SMS from/to mobile phone. i need now to send MMS to mobile phone. can i do it simply using the AT commands as i did for the SMS? can you help me to find a solution ? Thanks Houda | |||

It depends. The following thread explains how MMS works: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/589.html If the mobile operator of your message recipient allows connections to external MMSCs, then you can generate an MMS notification that is sent as an SMS message, and includes a URL pointer back to the MMS message content. If the mobile operator of your message recipient does not allow connections to external MMSCs, then MMS messages need to be transferred over GPRS. (Various other threads out here talk about MMS over GPRS ... or you can save time and just download our Now SMS/MMS Gateway product from this web site.) | |||
