Hi, I'm having some trouble getting a mms notification (via WAP Push) on a Panasonic GD87. I suppose some specific ota wsp header is not correct for this device but I have no problems with any other devices. Is anybody aware of any specific header settings needed for this device. I have browsed through all the other entries in this discussion board, but could not find anything about this problem. I would be very surprised if nobody has encountered this before. regards, Patrick. | |||

Patrick, Assuming that you have no problem receiving an MMS message from an operator MMSC with the GD87 on a live network. (Who knows, you might have a phone with buggy firmware, so you should test that it can actually receive an MMS in another scenario.) My advice would be to setup a GSM modem (it needs to be a dedicated device type such as the Siemens MC35). Put your SIM card into the GSM modem. Send an MMS through the operator MMSC to the your GSM modem. Compare the notification that is sent by the operator MMSC to the one that you are sending. -bn | |||

Partrick, GD87e I to have the same problem with my new handset. I recieve the mms in my notification box, but i am unable to download the message. I phoned orange for help and they are useless! keep telling me to reset the phone- sending me sim updates and nothing works. Any ideas anyone ? | |||
