Hi, I just want to know how an Email can be sent to MMS. My assumptions: --------------- 1. Since email also forms a MIME message with all the attached components, it can be sent to an MMS client. 2. How do we add presentation to it? The email client will have to identify the root element as the the presentation part of the message. I am not sure if this is done by an eamil client. But even then it should work if we attach the presentation part first, followed by other components (b'coz its not mandatory that a start parameter should be set if first part is SMIL). So the MMS client can receive the MIME MMS PDU from MMS-Proxy and display it. Plz let me know if my assumptions are right?? Thanx in advance Murali

Murali, Both MMS ane e-mail use MIME encoding ... just slightly different (text vs. binary encoding) ... but they do map very well. However, you're not likely to see an e-mail client go so far as including a "start" parameter, so you're likely to have to do some reformatting. -bn
