Ask a question
all of you mentioned that MMS notification included a URL to point to a mms file at server. can we key in URL to mobile and access mms directly? i try this and failed but don't know is due to the incorrect mms file or others.

No, you cannot.

The MMS notification URL needs to point to an MMS message with the content type "m-retrieve-conf".

Even if the phone's browser recognises the MMS MIME type, and forwards the download to the MMS client ... this "m-retrieve-conf" will be unexpected, because it is out of sequence with the normal MMS transaction sequence.

An MMS transaction sequence starts with the MMS client receiving an "m-notification-ind" message. That causes the MMS client issue a WSP/HTTP GET to retrieve the URL within the MMS notification, which it expects to contain an "m-retrieve-conf" message.

Generally speaking, MMS clients won't accept an "m-retrieve-conf" that they did not explicitly request.
