the result of mine is "not acceptable", i dont know how to send the profile & profile-diff when I invoke the get pdu, and setup session, and how to create the UAProfile, anyone can give me a hand? thanks | |||

Get a line analyser like Ethereal, run some WAP client simulators connecting to real WAP gateways ... and study the way those clients construct their PDUs ... refer back to the specs so that the real world examples can help you in understanding the specs. | |||

For simulators, Nokia (http://www.forum.nokia.com), Ericsson (http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld) and Openwave (http://developer.openwave.com) are good places to start. They'll make you register for their sites, but there are no charges for any of them. | |||

nokia's emulator doesn't work for win98 os? the others are only wapbrowser. | |||

That's right ... but even the Nokia emulator will not emulate real world MMS transactions. The question asked for "some wap client simulators" ... and that's what the list contains. I have yet to see an MMS emulator that emulates a real world MMS transaction ... all I've seen is emulators that have proprietary means for getting an MMS message in to the emulator, such as a file based approach. That type of approach works if you are testing MMS content, but not if you are testing MMS protocol. -bn | |||
