Can anyone explain me how the advice of charge is push to the handset in MMS call scenario. eg if a user want's to download an image he gets an Advice of charge. once the user accepts the request the image is downloaded to the handset. i would like to know how the WAP gateway is used in this scenario. | |||

I have seen some companies that have portal systems that they offer to operators, where the operator can bill for content through WAP requests. But that is not a standard feature of a WAP gateway. In most cases, for the type of scenario that you describe, it is best implemented using a combination of premium rate SMS, together with MMS (or WAP push). | |||
