An MMSC has the ability to perform direct delivery of MMS messages to mobile phones. By contrast, an MMS gateway implies that it may connect to other systems (e.g., MMSC) to deliver MMS messages. The Now SMS/MMS Gateway has built-in MMSC support, but it also supports connections to other MMSCs using MM7, MM4, EAIF and/or MM1 protocols. | |||
