I was wondering, let's say a Wavecom (Fastrack 1203A-On) modem is used of which specs say it support GPRS Class 2. The problem is that I cannot find the CGDCONT command in the specs of the M1203A-On and when I try to test if this command is available I always get an error, no matter what syntax I use or test command I try.

Since Wavecom says it supports GPRS on this modem I was wondering if connecting with the ATD command only is possible like "ATD*99*<wap URL >**#" and so avoiding the CGDCONT command?

Emanuele, what are you exactly looking for? You need a normal Hayes (AT) Commands refernce? There are dozens of those on the Net.

For some libraries you should take a look at the Forum Nokia. They offer some tools and libraries on MMS. Free WAP libraries I don't know.

Via mobile(gprs) or Via Web?

Uhm, I am not at the stage of sending yet. But the idea is to send the MMS Message (in the contect section of a WSP PDU) to the WAP Gateway of the MMSC (that will do further delivery to the recepient). First you will have to make a (GPRS) connection to the GW from your modem (or modem of telephone).

When you have this physical WAP connection you should make a WSP Connect (M-Send.req)Post/Disconnect. I am not completely sure yet which protocols to use and what signals to send. Apart from the GPRS connection no AT-commands are used I think. Don't know how it works though at the side of the modem.
