Hi, Could anyone suggest how I can extract the WbXML code of an incoming binary SMS and then decode it? The context is: When I receive a binary SMS like the one Zyb sends when you want to sync a phone, I want to understand what constitutes that binary SMS and how they have coded the WBXML code. | |||

Hi, I haven't seen any tools that do this. I usually find myself referring back to the relevant specification. FWIW, if this is a SyncML notification, then that isn't WBXML based ... it has its own special format defined. When the client receives the notification, it initiates a TCP/IP connection back to the server, and XML or WBXML is exchanged over that TCP/IP connection. Can you post an example message that you receive? Maybe we can give you a few pointers for how to decode it. -- Des NowSMS Support |
