Hello we need to configure a lot of Nokia 6600 - and want to do this via our NowSMS Gateway. The problem seems that the standard WAP OTA configuration parameters are not enough for Nokia 6600 (e.g. proxy Server adress and Proxy Port are missing). Does someone know how to do this configuration? I would need a quick answer - since I am under Time Pressure. Thank you, Best regards, Wolfgang | ||||

Hello Wolfgang, you have to use OMA client provisioning feature for new phone types. Hello wolfgang, Nokia 6600 is S60 OMA client. If a wapsetting contains more than one of phys proxy or APP level linked to TO-NAPID , then copies them into separate settings (leaving the napdefs and the first physical proxy in the first one). The logical and physical proxy IDs become unique, the logical proxies' names are changed to the linked napdef's name. | ||||

Hi All, I tried as you specified for Nokia 6600,After recieving the settings it is displaying like "Settings received but not saved. Unable to authenticate message. Message deleted". 1.Is the Nokia 6600 is looking for SEC & MAC for authentication? Can you please help me in calculating the HMAC. I am clear to set these parameters. Hello, could you please explain me, how to send settings to OMA enabled phone but only as Multimedia settings and not as Connection settings? It works fine for OTA phones (Nokia 6100 for example - just put MMS url homepage, and setting will come as multimedia settings). And it can't work for Nokia 6230 - all the time settings coming as connection settings... One set for MMS and another one for browser. I made xml only with application=w4, but same thing. | ||||

Hi, I am using the following XML file for OTA settings of MMS for Nokia 6630.I am able to recive the configuration sms and when I save the settings all the required settings are being done. But I am not able to set the value of Proxy server and port which are in advanced settings. Can you please tell me how can I set the Proxy server and port. ok look you lot i really really need a file wich can send from my pc to my nokia 6600 and that file should contain wap settings for orange whoever gives me this i'll give them a link for any bluetooth phone to hack in any other phone to steal credits images ringtone whatever i'm asking for a file thats it. best regards !!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||
