Are there special commands that have to be used when sending SMS vCard information, and what are they for different manufacturers (Nokia, Motorola, etc)? Is there a list of commands/codes I can see somewhere? Also, can vCard and vCal information be sent via regular SMS text or does it have to be binary? Vazu.com says they can send you [basically] vCard information to your phone and they have a list of supported manufacturers. They also have an area where by entering your phone's serial number (acquired by *#06# ) it will return your make and model. Is there a programming API to use this functionality? | |||

After further research (re: vCards) I guess what I'm looking for is the UDP header information for vCards and vCal's for different manufacturers. Since the content has to be in hex, a simple content hex tranlation would do, right? | |||
