Well, no offense, but I have a suspicion that you're just spamming our discussion board to try to get people to your web site. (If you're not, I apologise ... I've just seen a few references to this particular site on our board today.)

Free sites come and free sites go. Whether or not they last depends on whether or not their business model is sustainable.

Those web sites don't send SMS without some type of gateway. You may not need a gateway to send messages through them, but they need one to actually send your messages out for delivery. Generally speaking, the free site is actually paying for the messages to be sent, and they are subsidising the cost through advertising revenues (one exception is in the USA, where many mobile operators have free e-mail to SMS gateways, but that is another story).

Generally these free gateways can be useful for individual users to send text messages to friends. But because the free site is actually paying for messages that are sent through it, they have to setup controls to prevent themselves from being abused by other sites and automated programs that try to send SMS through them. So these types of sites are generally only useful for individuals to send text messages to their friends.

Hi Kiran,

I am not sure I understand how to answer your question. I don't know what you mean by "multichannel gateway is available".

If you are trying to use NowSMS, you submit messages to NowSMS by issuing an HTTP GET request using the URL formats described in these links:

http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/sending_messages/sendin g_text_messages.htm
http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/sending_messages/url_pa rameters_for_sending_messages.htm

The HTTPClient API from Apache is one approach to issuing these requests from within a servlet.

NowSMS is a middleware software solution for SMS and MMS environments, so it is not a requires external SMS connectivity (via SMS service provider(s) and/or GSM modems) in order for it to actually send out any messages.
