Hi, I am trying to send MMS using NowSMS with Ericsson MMSC. But it is not working. I am getting the below error when i push MMS: StatusCode=4001;StatusText="Improper identification" And the interesting this is i am getting the same error with 2 different MMSCs, located in 2 different countries and belongs to 2 different Telcos. However both MMSCs are from Ericsson. I would really appreciate if you can help me to solve this issue. Regards Imran | |||

Hi Imran, This error code is basically saying that the MMSC doesn't know who you are ... it can't identify that you have access to send via the MMSC. Most likely it is a case that you need to specify a VASP ID and/or VAS ID in the configuration ... or you need to use the sender address that the operator provisioned for you. It could also be possible that you are connecting from an IP address that is not authorised for your account ... but it is more likely that it is a VASP ID, VAS ID or sender address issue. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
