On a user basis, is it possible to autoforward all incoming MMS to an email account (i.e. user still receive the MMS on his mobile, but an autoforward (copy) to his email also happen) ? I think it is possible to do it for a VASP, but is it possible for every user and how can I achieve it ? Thanks | |||

Hi Bill, No this is not possible, although this is a feature possibility that we have discussed internally very frequently, as it is a feature that could be added very simply. Keep in mind that this would only work when one user sends an MMS message to another user using the Now SMS/MMS Gateway as the MMSC. It would not have any effect on MMS messages that were sent to a recipient via a different MMSC. If that still sounds like something that would meet a requirement that you have, send an e-mail message to nowsms@now.co.uk so that we can discuss in more detail. -bn | |||

I don't understand why it will only work when one user sends an MMS message to another user using the Now SMS/MMS Gateway as the MMSC. All the messages adressed to me have to pass by my own MMSC for delivery anyway. So, if my MMSC is linked to another MMSC via MM4 form example, I could receive the mms on my phone and it could be copied to my mailbox | |||

Bill, As long as the messages get routed through your MMSC one way or another, yes this would work. Do you have another MMSC linked to your MMSC via MM4? Are you planning to? Like I said, if it still sounds like something that would meet a requirement that you have, we could discuss it via e-mail in more detail. At present, this feature request just hasn't been a priority for us. -bn |
