Hi Des, I need some *quick* help here: After the application of the lastest patch 2010-06-28, started to appear .LCK files in NowSMS/Q/MMSCQ__ folder. They stay there even when traffic is correctly delivered, and I can't see anything wrong in debug files. I can't go back to the previous version due to the intent to use UndeliverableRouteToSMSBlockSender feature! Any help ? Thank you!! Best regards, Gonzalo | |||

Follow-up thoughts... Is it possible that the files are getting deleted, but it takes an extra min ute before they are deleted? (Changes were made to delay deleting these fil es to address a specific deployment scenario. Previously they were deleted s o quick you might not have noticed them.) If they are staying for more than 5 minutes, then there may be a problem. I f you do not have async windowing enabled for the connection, enable it with a small window size (no larger than 5 if you were not previously using wind owing...if this setting causes problems, drop the window size to 1). If you have only one outbound SMSC connection, you can also set the followin g in the [SMSGW] section of SMSGW.INI: DisableLongMessageSMSCCheck=Yes Note that this setting should only be used if you have a single outbound SMS C connection. -- Des | |||

File names are like these: SAR-+59891003761-1a.LCK SAR-+59891006073-36.LCK SAR-+59891007407-4f.LCK SAR-+59891033323-cd.LCK SAR-+59891033993-1f.LCK SAR-+59891034527-7e.LCK SAR-+59891038230-9d.LCK SAR-+59891039965-cf.LCK SAR-+59891040718-9b.LCK etc. I've accumulated about 1600 of these in 5 hours. We're using a single transceiver smpp connection, so I'll try with the setting you've said and let you know the results. Thanks again, Regards | |||
