Hi

I am using a Nokia 6200 EDGE phone as a modem to send and receive MMS messages. The problem i am having is that i am not able to receive MMS messages in the gateway eventhough i am able to send MMS through the phone using the operators MMSC. The phone is able to recieve the MMS but i was wondering if there is a way to force the MMS messages directly to the gateway instead of the phone processing the messages?

Sorry, that is a limitation of using a mobile phone as a GSM modem.

You need to use a dedicated GSM modem device (e.g., Siemens MC35, Wavecom, Sierra Wireless Aircard) in order to be able to process received MMS messages with the gateway.

The problem is that when a phone is used as the modem, the MMS client on the phone always intercepts the MMS message notification and prevents it from being forwarded over the modem interface. I haven't seen a phone that behaves otherwise.
