I encounter one problem during I submit one MMS using "NoW SMS web interface", the detail as below
I add three http connection in the SMSC connection. Then, I want to designate one of them to router the MMS to phone. How could I achieve this.Could I specify "MMSFrom" item to achieve that, but I try this method, it still can't rount the MMS to the connection I wanted.
So, hope you can help support it. Thx
In order to more clear, I capture the image for that.I make the "MMSFROM" matched to the Sender Address, but it seems doesn't work. What else I also need to config.
the multiple SMSC connection imageMMSFROM match the sender addression

Hi,

If I understand your configuration correctly, there is no way to accomplish it.

Normally MMS routing would be done by MMSC connections on the "MMSC Routing" page. However, you appear to be using NowSMS as a direct delivery MMSC, delivering the notifications out via SMS. There is no setting to allow the routing for the resulting SMS to be set in this type of configuration.

The only idea I have is for the other connections that you did not want to send the notifications thru could be set text only, then the MMS notifications will not use those routes. To set a connection as text only, edit SMSGW.INI and under the [HTTP - server:port] header, add BinaryOrTextOnly=Text

Hi,

I added the MMSC connections on the "MMSC Rounting".
Per my understanding, If the phone number of receiver matches the "Route messages to this account for recipient phone number", then the MMS will be sent out via the route "Server Address".

I connected Agilent8960 to NowSMS via http connection. So, should I filled the Agilent8960 SMS center address in the "Server Address"?
I do the configuration as above, it seems the MMS routing still doesn't work.

So, could you help give me more guide to achieve the MMS routing.

Hi,

The Agilent system will not support defining a connection that way.

As I mentioned in the previous reply, the only solution I can think of is the trick about restricting the other connections from processing binary messages.

The only other alternative is routing to different connections based upon recipient address (not sender).
