and yet another question from me:

is the "alphanumeric sender feature" in SMS (when i put my name instead of my number as sender) solely dependent on the phones (what phones do not support alphanumeric sender ?) or also on the gateways that are handling my messages ?
can i find out if a device supports this/accepted the message ?
