Hello everybody, I came accross this forum and found it very useful. I am in US and believe that here it is very different from the rest of the world. This is an experiment and for that, I would like to setup a service sending SMS messages to my subscribers here in the US. I need help getting started. I believe I need a GSM modem for that, where can I get one? Can I go to any carrier and get their modem that fits into a laptop or do I need to get the modem from somewhere else? Also, I would like to send SMS text messages to subscribers from any carrier, is this possible with just one carrier? Or will I need to get subscriptions from all the carriers (which would be atleast the major carriers) in the US? Thanks to all that reply! | |||
