Hi there I have the task of having to send an MMS message from an 8bit microcontroller system via a GSM/GPRS modem. I can open a GPRS connection to my service provider's MMSC, but I am now at the "now what?" stage. The way I understand things, is that I am supposed to open a GPRS connection to my operator's MMSC (done) then speak to it using the WAP protocol and send my MM1 file over. I have no idea how to implement this WAP business from scratch, nor have I a clue as to how I am going to compile an MM1 file. I am trying to take it one step at a time here. Has anyone successfully implemented this from scratch? (even if this was done on a PC) Does anyone have any info to help me implement a WAP layer? My plan as step one is to use an MMS compiler (I downloaded one), and first figure out how to get this over to the MMSC using WAP and GPRS. once that is working I can attempt compiling the file myself - which shouldn't really be rocket science either.. Any help will be appreciated.. regards Carel Hauptfleisch South Africa |
