Hi,

We are developing a commercial website with DRM protected content.

Currently we are using forward-locking only.

The phones have correct firmware installed.

The DRM protected files work on these phones:
SonyEricsson p900
SonyEricsson T610
SonyEricsson Z600
Nokia 6600
Nokia 3650
Siemens Sx-1

These phones fail to download DRM protected content.

Nokia 3100
Nokia 3200
Nokia 5100
Nokia 6220
Siemens S55
Siemens C60
Siemens MC60

Mimesettings:

DD application/vnd.oma.dd+xml
DM application/vnd.oma.drm.message;boundary="boundary-1"
Server: Windows 2003
All phones claim to support DRM.

Any suggestions why these phones fail?

Best regards,
BRE

I will never use any kind of DRM devices or software. I'll never buy DRM secured media content. So continiue to sell it as fair use or stop all your business

Do all of these phones support full drm - is it possible that some of these phones only support DRM forward lock? I have found the the device manufactures are a bit vauge about the specs of their phones. If you have found out anything more I would be interested in knowing!

Hi Adrian,

Nokia provides a content publishing toolkit using which you can generate DRM message with Forward Lock, Combined Delivery and Separate Delivery You can use the the DRM content generated by this tool to cross verify your content.
