I am trying to use this software. I am not able to configure the SMSC. Can I run it on my PC stand alone. I have implemented an interface to send the sms to my simulator. by using a UDP connection.can i implement it without connecting it to any service provider. Some thing like implamanting an SMSC on my PC | |||

It can be a SMSC on your PC alone. It needs Microsoft Java Virtual Machine. You can download it. It use TCP/IP protocol. You cannot use UDP protocol. It need authentication. But simulator skips it. You need to download config file for this simulator. It names "smpp.xml". You can config simulator by this config file, if you know how. | |||
