Hello,

I'm trying to send a MMS as a Wap-push: I create a standard Wap push with no message body and with these settings:

content-type=application/vnd.wap.mms-message
application-id:x-wap-application:wml.ua
content-location=http://url in Internet where the composed MMS is stored

I send the message as Wap-Si push (Service Indication) and the mobile terminal I'm using receives the push and downloads the MMS. After that the phone says "Received new Multimedia message" but after that the problems begin... I think the phone goes a bit crazy (it connects via GPRS to the MMSC and tries to download ??? (I don't know) and then says that an error ocurred.

In the MMS Inbox, the message downloaded via Wap-Push is present but I can't read it (phone says it is outdate and must be deleted). I need to make more testing with other MMSs...

Why I want to do that:

-If I use the carrier MMSC, the carrier bills me for the message (expensive that a single SMS like a Wap-push). The customer receives the MMS with no charge.

-If I'm able to send the MMS like explained above, the carrier bills me *ONLY* a SMS and the customer pays the GPRS traffic in order to download the content.

Any idea? Anybody tried it before? It is possible?

P.D: if the x-application-id is x-wap-application:mms.ua, the phone expect that the message body of the wap-push is a MMS-REQUEST-INDICATION in order to connect to the MMSC. That isn't desired.

Cheers,
Antonio
