Has anyone successfully connected NowSMS to a 3rd party HTTP or SMPP allowing all message types to be sent in the USA? Each attempt has ended in failure or exorbitant fees making it impossible to find a well rounded solution. We lost WAP Push and MMS on the at&t network and are aggressively searching for a solution. Any feedback from other users would be great! | |||

Binary SMS for WAP push does seem to be a headache in the US. We did a little testing after our previous message exchange about the WAP Push blocking problem on AT&T. T-Mobile to T-Mobile WAP Push does still work in the US. (Previously on AT&T, WAP Push only worked for AT&T to AT&T, so I assume all of your clients are using AT&T.) I've got an idea of a company that you might be able to contact. They are not a general SMS provider, but they do have a direct connection to AT&T. It is possible that they won't be able to accommodate you, so I don't want to post their details here. Send an e-mail to nowsms@nowsms.com with Attention: Des in the subject line. Include your contact details, and I will try to facilitate an introduction. If my memory is correct about who your employer is, that might be helpful. -- Des NowSMS Support |
