Hello, Currently, I'm testing the iPhone 3GS and I cannot receive MMS (from Now sms as the internal MMSC). I send MMS from Now Sms (web interface) and I use a Modem (usb Datakey) for sending/receiving MMS. Neither with the operator APN it works, nor with a test APN. I tested at the same with another mobile phone and it works well. I'm pretty sure there is a tips for the iPhone 3GS to use with Now Sms (for the MMSC). Maybe can you help me, please ? | |||

Hi, Apologies for the delay in response... I can assure you that there is no compatibility issue with the iPhone 3GS. Instead, I suspect the issue is that with most iPhones, they are locked and it is not possible to change MMS related settings, such as APN. It is not necessary to change APN settings if NowSMS is configured to send messages via an operator MMSC. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about your configuration to tell you what is happening. How are you sending MMS messages? Do you have an "MMS Routing" defined as the default route so that messages are sent using the operator MMSC? Can I see a screen shot of those settings? Is the phone that works connected to the same operator as the iPhone, using default MMS settings for that operator? -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
