Hi,

What's the status on MMS delivery; from an application to subscribers of variouos networks in several countries?

Are there any gateway providers (such as Clickatell for SMS) that offer such services, or does one have to team up with a long list of operators - each at a substantial fee?

Thanks,

TMM

Also, I'm a little unclear as to the practical differences between WAP push and MMS (with MMS notification through SMS) - is it possible to send a multimedia presentation as WAP push where MMS fails due to operators using limited gateways (that will only support their own MMSC)?

I've seen a few companies getting started in this area, but nothing that looks like great coverage.

The practical difference between WAP push and MMS is that a WAP push is handled by the WAP browser, and an MMS message is handled by an MMS client.

SMIL for presentation layout is an MMS specific concept.

Everything but the SMIL can be handled via WAP push in a browser.
