How send WAP Push and WAP Push MMS message via operator's SMSCenter?

At a technical level, you create a WSP Push PDU and send it via WDP over SMS.

The WSP Push PDU contains the content of the push. A normal WAP push is a "Service-indication" ("SI"), and the content of the push PDU is in "application/vnd.wap.sic" format.

A WAP push message for MMS has a content type of "application/vnd.wap.mms-message", which is defined in the MMS Encapsulation Specification.

WDP is covered in Wireless Datagram Protocol Specification WAP-259-WDP-20010614-a.

WSP is covered in Wireless Session Protocol Specification WAP-230-WSP-20010705-a.

Service Indication Push is covered in WAP Service Indication Specification WAP-167-ServiceInd-20010731-a.

MMS Encapsulation is covered in Multimedia Messaging Service Encapsulation Specification WAP-209-MMSEncapsulation-20020105-a.

Some of the other specifications on that page may also be of help, but those are the highlights.

You might also want to take a look at our Now SMS/MMS Gateway product which has a simple interface for generating these messages. (And also has alternate MMS connectivity protocol support for situations where the operator has blocked access for MMS notifications from other than the operator MMSC.)

I am interested in the process of how SI being converted into SMS format and send out to mobile user.
say if I have a picture in the web server
http://xyz.com/pic.jpg
to send to mobile 123456789

how am I going to convert this into the wap push message to send out. Any example to explain the step involve in converting this into SI format and thereafter convert to the SMS format to send to mobile user.
pls advise
