Hi Guys I really hope someone can help! I purchased a Samsung SGH D500 from The Carphone Warehouse on the 27th May 2005. For some reasn I am not able to reeive mulitmedia messages, but i can send them ok! I have taken the phone back to the carphone warehouse THREE times so far and I cannot get them to send it away to be checked. I have telephoned my Network service provider (Vodafone) and my account is set up to receive multimedia messages and they are coming through at Vodafones end and being forwarded onto me fine. Vodafon sent me all the settings over the air, but still no luck :-( Any ideas? Thanks Claire | |||

i am having a similar prob with the same phone and network. any picture messages i recieve i have to view through the vodafone live website which is really annoying, if you get any suggestions as to how to fix this plz let me know | |||

i have a problem on samsung d500 on orange every time i try to send or recieve a mms it always says " cannot connect to server " and its annoying me can anyone help me to fix this problem??? | |||

Think this could be to do with your download protocol - though not sure of exact mechanism for MMS. You could try resetting the Java Status code: For Voda, enter: #*536961# For Orange, enter: #*536962# Hope this helps. W | |||

I am using Voda prepay, Sharp GX25 and I can received sms from everyone with no exception, and send to everyone except when sending only to an Orange pay as you talk number, but only one! others are all delivered fine, even if also Orange. Tried the Sim in another phone, same problem. Just the one number I want to send to! Any ideas ?? Help! Voda useless! | |||

Have a Samsung D500 from Carphone Warehouse which cannot send MMS taken by it's camera to a number of other phones, notably Nokia 6230i. This is a worldwide problem with D500 and Samsung Tech boys admit this but Carphone say they are unaware of probem and there is no firmware upgrade for it. | |||

Hi, In samsung D500, once I receive the m-notification-ind from MMSC, imediately the mobile is sending m-notification-resp with status as Deferred. m-notification-ind in hex dump is 8c 82 98 32 37 31 39 33 34 30 32 39 31 32 30 00 8d 90 89 0e 80 39 31 39 38 34 35 33 38 38 34 35 38 00 8a 80 8e 02 1f 40 88 06 80 04 43 3a a2 d2 83 68 74 74 70 3a 2f 2f 31 39 32 2e 31 36 38 2e 31 2e 32 33 3a 38 35 31 34 2f 3f 54 49 44 3d 32 37 31 39 33 34 30 32 39 31 32 30 00 please let me know why the mobile is sendig as deferred.
