Hi Guyz,
I have a question regarding the message-id field in m-send-conf. In MMS encoding standard its been mentioned that Message Id is an optional parameter in m-send-conf and SHALL be present if the MMSC accepts m-send-req.
My question is "If the originating MMS client has not requested for a delivery report Or read report (As PDU in MMS 1.1 and 1.2) still MMSC will send the message id? If yes then what will be the significance of message Id"

Message Id is basically to identify a perticular msg even after the current session terminates. Its presence is MUST in m-send-cnf when sender requests for delivery report or read report since both these features require the identification of the msg at a later point.
But its optional if both these features are not requested.
But some MMSCs still send msg-id in m-send-cnf which may be thier default implementation.
In this case, you can just ignore msg-id.
