Hello, I uploaded an MMS with type "m-retrieve-conf" to a web server (created with Nokia MIT or using one from Now SMS). The server has the correct MIME type set for MMS files. I then use Now SMS to send a notfication message to a mobile phone using the above MMS URL. I can see that the phone connects to download but after a while the GPRS connection disconnects and there is no message. I have even tried using a normal internet access point setting, but no success. Is this as simple as this or am I missing something? Do you need a proxy server to retrieve your MMS for you? Any ideas will be really appreciated thanks. | |||

Got it fixed. Turns out that it's in the way MMS client in phone calls the URL. The mms file was hosted on shared server space with many other websites and phone was calling default web site. After I loaded mms to default site on another server all worked fine. | |||
