Hi!

I've been looking through the chaos of different specifications regarding MT-Billing (reverse-billing), but unfortunately have not been able to find any.

Does anyone know where the architecture of reverse-billing system is explained (or which specification should clarify that). What I am curious to find out is how the system really works at the SMSC level (i.e when and how does the user get billed. Is it after delivery to the handset or is it after submission to the SMSC)?
Thanks!

Hey

Thanks, but are you sure of that? Yes, delivery is not guaranteed, but so basically if submission has been successful then i can consider user to be billed? The confusing point is that all materials talk about user being billed upon "delivery". But they are not technical materials too of course.
Do you by any chance, have some specs to refer to?
Cheers!

No sorry i don't have any specs for that. But cauz u'r network connection has been used for the message sending, thats why u been charge. If the receiving number is wrong then still u been charged for that.

SMSC keep the message with it self for the specific time and then later deletes it.
