Hi all, I'm fairly new to MMS and would like to know a bit more about what goes on behind the scenes. I've had a look at a lot of posts already up and have an idea, but then it starts to get a little to technical for me. What I'd really like to know is the steps for encoding a picture message. I've read through the OMA specs but find it very difficult to understand. Say if I have a mobile phone with a picture on it and all i want to do is send it to an MMSC what actually happens to the message? Does it first encode the headers and content as to WAP-MMSEncapsulation and then when it goes over WAP it is encoded into binary as specified in WAP-203? If anyone could help me to clarify this area and possibly show me a small example it would help me out a lot. Thanks in advance! Chris | |||
