Hi,

Given an iMelody ringtone in Hex format, I have to prepend the UDH to the message. Can anyone please guide me? also it would be nice if someone could highlight the differences between the normal and the iMelody ringtone.

Thanking in Advance,
Suddu

"someone could highlight the differences between the normal and the iMelody ringtone. "

iMelody is a user defined ring tone and it can work with various mobiles....0C – iMelody IEI (23.040 3GPP)

normal ringtone is manufacturer specific it has the following IEI : 0B (Predefined Ring Tone)
00 - Position
05 - Ring tone Number
This particular number gets substituted at the destination side with the appropriate ring tone.
