My boyfriend is having trouble with his Motorola V500. He has just changed his sim from o2 to t-mobile and can no longer receive or send text messages (but can make and receive calls). We have had a look around and found that he needs to enter the service centre number, but the menu is completely missing. If we look in the Message Setup menu it's not there.
Does anyone know how he can get this back? Any help is much appreciated.

Just thought I should add that T-Mobile have said that they have never supported the V500 and he should contact Motorola.
Motorola say that the V500 is an Orange only phone and will not support SMS or WAP on any other network.
This is strange 'cos he's been using it on o2 for the last couple of years without any problems (including SMS), although the "Service Centre" menu has always been missing.
Any advice on how to reconfigure for t-mobile would be a big help!
