Hello Experts, Please could you clarify the following on MMS notification procedures? (If there are other threads which discussed this, please could you redirect me to the appropriate thread?). These questions may be too fundamental. I am a new comer to MMS technology. Please help me in the following clarifications. 1. Is SMS the only widely used mechanism of giving a notification to the receipient that MMS has arrived at the MMSC? 2. Does the SMS carry any special indication that it is a MMS notification? (In other words, how does NowSMS GW recognize that it is a MMS Notification SMS and download the MMS contents from MMSC?) Is the mechanism the same in GSM and CDMA domains? Hi Experts, Please could you please comment on the above? I also read on the net that it is possible to send MMS over GSM (not GPRS) connections too? However, it is not clear how it is possible. Please can you clarify this dobut also whether it is possible to send/receive MMS over GSM network (without having a GPRS connection)? I appreciate your time. Best Regards BVNK | |||
