Hi all

i have a process which creates OTA files every time a user registers in the site, with the destination phone number as the file name
(e.g. 0459387364.ota). it is saved in a certain folder.
what i need is a service which checks for new configuration files in this folder and sends them.

i know there is a script to send the files from the command line, but is there some kind of service to sample the folder for configuration files ? and if not, how would one go about to creat this.

any help would be appreciated.
regards

You can write u'r own program for it and than u can use GSM Modem or SMPP bind or Webservice to send it. You will be able to find the encoding schemes for OTA messages online or in the documentation provided for Smart Messaging and EMS messaging.

You can also look in to the 3rd party solutions. Its much easier this way.

Best of luck
