Hi, I have a little problem with NowSMS and sending MMS messages. I have Falcom's Twist USB Modem connected to a Windows 2000 server, which shows up as a GPRS dial-up connection. The server is also connected to 2 LANs with 2 different network interfaces. I've set up NowSMS to use my operator MMSC (TeliaSonera Finland) as default in MMSC routing settings. This far everything works as it should, I can send MMS etc. The problem is, when the modem establishes a GPRS (dial-up) connection to send an MMS, the LAN interfaces become unresponsive until the GPRS is disconnected. I know this is not a NowSMS problem, but I was hoping someone in here might know if there's any way to keep the LANs alive or might suggest another solution that wouldn't require GPRS connection. It would be quite important to keep them alive as the server is also a web server

Ok solved the problem. In the advanced tcp/ip settings of the modem there's a checkbox called "Use default gateway on remote network" and when it's checked the dial-up connection interferes with gateway settings (at least when using dhcp on the other interfaces). In case anyone else ever has the same problem ;)

i'm tring to build a voucher destribuition service center ,where people can request pincode and get the reply, but they have to supply a user pin that match with the one given by our services. please some one can creat a script for me because i'm not a very experienced developer, it is to be used with nowsms software. |
