Hi Can anyone tell me how we can judge that whether a mobile is OMA specific or Nokia Ericsson specific mobile....If it is to judge by user profile then by which fied of it we can judge it...... | |||

Generally speaking, there is no easy way to do this. If the device makes an HTTP request of your server, then you can look at the "User-Agent:" string to find out the model of the device. Normally, when you're sending OTA, however, the device is not sending you an HTTP request, so you have no way of getting access to any user-agent information. Even if you do have user agent information, I'm not aware of any databases that will tell you what type of OTA the device supports. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

please help, I need to know how come my friend NOT ANY MORE!! could manage to send me a mms from his phone and yet show another number?? he claims he hasnt a clue and he sent it from his phone. could this be genuine? everyone says not. need some kind expert advice but it needs to be correct since the friendship based on the outcome.also when you ring the number a 21 year old girl answers and says she didnt send it either!! oh and they both live in south australia and im in uk!! yep very very odd. but again this man who has a nokia 95 says he hasnt a clue to why or how this number came up!!
