hi i am just wondering why i cant download java games on my siemens mc60 on o2 cos some times it says incorrect gprs profile and this is wierd cos if i had a wrong profile i would not get online and othertimes it says .,:. and stuff like that and also that happens when i recieve a picture message and also i cant send mms cos it says mms defective plz help me | |||

I had the exact same problem using o2 in ireland. Downloading an application (.jad/.jar) gave incorrect gprs profile. I tried eveything including using the web site to send settings to the phone. Eventually O2 customer care changed some setting on my account and all works fine now. Not sure what it is but i am guessing general internet access as opposed to wap only. | |||

Its a fault in the phones firmware. i have the mc60 on tesco (which is effectively o2) and i couldn't download games and apps and i found a wap forum that tells ya. even siemens admitted they cocked it up. just download the new firmware off siemens site. its version 10 atm. that will enable u to download java. the mms is to do with o2. u have to enable the sim card first by ringing o2 and asking them to enable it. hi. i down loaded a game, from wap/internet and it took my credit. i still dont have a game and i don't know why. has any 1 else had this problem? | |||
