Is it possible to send large video clip files (i.e. 150+ KB) as MMS to mobile phones. How will I do this? If not is their anyway that these files can be sent to recipients? | |||

Hello Patrick, It is possible to send large files. But you have to use SAR (Segmentation and Reassembly). Please follow Section 8.14 "Segmentation and Re-assembly (Optional)", Section 9.3 "Fixed Header Structure", and Section 9.4 "Transport Information Items" of WTP Protocol specification document WAP-201-WTP Version 19-February-2000. Hello Mr.Ravikanth & Mr. Bryce, I want to ask you about your 'long mms' solution. I've run some tests but receive an abort pdu (0x20) from mms server (after my last packet was sent). It's a 0xE8 abort code (peer request). Would you mind helping me out ? In addition, I've successfully sent a short MMS (direct connection thru gprs connection) and I've already implemented all your SAR WTP, but seems no improvement. Thank you in advance.
