Hi! I'm trying to send a MMS M-Notification.ind message to a mobile phone without success. I am not sure if this is because the notification message itself has not been received by the phone, or whether the notification message has been received but has been dropped, as the the MMS content cannot be accessed via the link given in the notification. I am hosting the MMS message on a content server and I'm not seeing any requests to retrieve the content from the server at all. How can I troubleshoot what the problem is? Any help would be appreciated, Regards, ML

Does anyone know the industry standard on the length of time to retain an MMS notification in the MMSC. That is, a user receives an MMS notification to download content how long should the notification remain in the MMSC?

Does it make sense to retain the notification on the MMSC.. It is sent via an SMS and once it makes a request to an SMSC its job is over.. after that it will only wait till the messgae is either expired or its is fetched and the MMSC receives the M-NotifyrespInd with retrieved. |
