Im using a Wavecom Fastrack Supreme 10 Open AT as my GSM modem but when I click on Test and Add modem, Im just getting an error "Modem does not support SMS". Have anybody used this wavecom GSM modem to work on NowSMS? what else should I check? Need your help on this. Thanks. | |||

Hi Gary, I don't have experience with that particular modem, but I would expect it to work. Is there a PIN code on the SIM ... sometimes that can cause unexpected errors with some devices. Also, are you sure that you are connecting to the correct COM port? This particular error, means that we couldn't get an OK response to AT+CSMS=0 ... or a +CSMS:/OK response to AT+CSMS? In this case, NowSMS generally sends some reset commands to the modem to try to wake it up before giving up. If you're on Windows XP, you can try connecting to the modem with HyperTerminal (under Programs/Accessories/Communications). I'd be curious what the AT+CSMS=0 response from the modem is. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
