Can you please show an example of a full MMS WSP encoded OMA DRM forward-lock content type (application/vnd.oma.drm.message )in the WSP multipart header which also contains the mime-boundary PARAMETER and original content? It will follow a Content-General Form as WSP230 spec since it contains the Parameter definition(Boundary), right? Also,in MMS WSP encoding,is boundary parameter compulsory? and also the form of testing needed for forward lock feature.

It is unclear (to me) whether the boundary parameter is required or optional when using WSP encoding.

The specs state:

quote:

If HTTP or a MIME compliant protocol is used to transport the DRM message the boundary delimiter MUST be included as a parameter in the media type definition.

However, it does not explicitly define whether or not WSP is considered a "MIME compliant protocol" in this context.

I can tell you that Nokia has stated in their specifications that it is optional for their devices. But I have not seen statements from other device manufacturers.

As for an example, the easiest way to generate one is to send an MMS message from NowSMS and check the "Forward-lock" option. I just did, and I attach the MMS message content to this message.

application/octet-streamForward Lock.mms
fwlock.mms (36.9 k)

can you post a snoop (readable by ethereal) of the fwlock.mms message ? I'm trying to figure out how to
encode an mms message containing oma drm part.

Thanks,

Stephan

Dear Bryce,

Thank you for the sample. Could you please post another forward-lock sample which contains multi-content under the wrapper? I hadn't used your MMS product before, so maybe you could provide it? Thank you! Or you can send it to me on yeppie@citiz.net
