I would like to know if it's possible for this program to be used as a ringtone service. E.g. SMS the word "toxic" to "9696" and get the ringtone. Will the program be able to order the media server to automatically send the tone or picture without user interaction? Thank you. | |||

Hi George, Technically that's possible. But NowSMS is just a middleware piece, it is not a complete portal solution. When someone sends a message in to your short code, NowSMS can trigger a script running on a web server. (Or different scripts depending on the keyword. Often it's easier to do just one script, and have your script do the keyword parsing, rather than managing multiple scripts.) The web server script could be written in any scripting language, such as like PHP, Perl, ASP, Java.
