We are in the process of Launching MMS Services commercially using the Now MMSC, to our subscribers who are 1M+. Right now, we've serious challenges to overcome. I'm looking for examples and case studies of simillar roll-outs in terms of the following: *MMS settings provisioning to Siemens, Panasonic, Alcatel, Samsung, and Sagem Handsets -Right now, the Now OTA solution only supports Nokia and Ericsson Terminals. Does somebody have a better way to provision the settings to other terminals using the NOW platform or know of a cheaper OTA solution? *MMS Validity Periods and error handling The current NOW platform(V5.50) still does not tell how long the MMS will be stored pending delivery/retrival. Similarly, if I send a MMS message to non-MMS compatible handset, it does not generate any errors, although the message will not be delivered. However, do we live with these? *Traffic Observation How do i know how many MMS were sent successfully, failed without looking at the logs. *License What happens if my subscribers send more messages in a minute than the licensed quantity. How can I limit E-mail to MMS functionality? Bryce too, if you are there, what are your suggestions on these? Thank you all. | |||
